Welcome Google Wave

Google WaveGoogle as usual, has come up with a new product Google Wave. This time, it’s about conversation and personal file handling and sharing in real-time and in much a better way. Google terms Wave as, “an online tool for real-time communication and collaboration. A wave can be both a conversation and a document where people can discuss and work together using richly formatted text, photos, videos, maps, and more.” Three key technologies which Google claim it has incorporated in Google Wave include:

  • Real-time Collaboration
  • Natural language tools
  • Embedding waves in other sites

With its sharing features, participants can reply in anyplace on the message, add participants at any point and edit the content how they want to. There is also a playback feature which lets anyone rewind the wave to recall what happened. The Google Wave also has features to work together with righ formatting features for text, photos, maps, videos and more.
