Google’s biggest hype of year 2008 Google Chrome would be available for Mac users by the end of this year. Yes, as some intellectuals would have guessed with the ever green “BETA” tag.

comScore, Inc. , a leader in measuring the digital world, today released its monthly comScore qSearch analysis of the U.S. search marketplace. In September 2009, Americans conducted 13.8 billion core searches, with Google Sites accounting for 64.9 percent search market share. Microsoft Sites grabbed 9.4 percent market share, representing a slight gain versus August.

Not all that Google touches turns to gold immediately. The much hyped Android believed to change smart phones for ever doesn’t seem to be a reality.

Google has invited Google Chrome fans to come up with creative videos which depict Google Chrome in a creative and unusual way. Up for the challenge?
Jason Toff of Google Chrome team mentions that, “We know from past experience that users are the ones who come up with the coolest stuff. So with that, we now turn the challenge to YOU to make a video showing the formation of the Google Chrome icon in a big, unusual or creative way.”

One would wonder when will the Beta be removed from most of Google products be it Gmail or GTalk. But then, that’s a result of continuous development and research by Google. Now, Google offers a new Beta AdWords interface which is currently limited to countries like the U.K. and Australia. The Beta Adwords interface is also available to Japanese, French, Portuguese, Spanish and Brazilian language users.
I have been getting many comments to write about the recent Google Search Masters Conference that happened in Bangalore. Most of them who attended were not even aware what search engine optimization is nor they had any idea of Google Analytics or Google Adwords.
As we all know, the invitation was given on a first come basis. However, many search engine optimizers and webmasters are not that happy with the concept. It is quite funny to know that the participants were chosen in random or first come basis when Google is able to spend 100’s of man hours to decide whether a search box or search result should be up 1 pixel or down 1 pixel.
